This policy explains what data Econparity processes, why it uses it, which services may receive it, how long it is kept, and how you can exercise your rights.
Controller and scope
Data controller: Econparity, a service available at econparity.com. For privacy questions, contact privacy@econparity.com.
This policy applies to the website, calculator, user accounts, reports, history, artificial intelligence assistant, and other Econparity services.
Data we process
We follow a data-minimization approach and seek to process only the information needed to provide, protect, and improve the service.
Account and authentication
Email address, language, account identifiers, subscription plan, and technical session data. If you sign in with Google, we receive the information authorized by that provider, such as your email, display name, or profile image.
Scenarios and reports
Currency, amount, selected years, rates, results, investment parameters, history, branding settings, and PDF files you ask us to generate or store.
Usage and security
Usage counters, operation dates and times, the IP address of unregistered visitors for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and technical logs needed to diagnose errors and protect the platform.
Device preferences
Language, theme, default values, local history, PDF identifiers, and customization data stored in your browser's local storage.
Communications and subscription
Email address, support requests, report delivery, and subscription or transaction status shared by the payment provider. Econparity does not directly store your full payment card details.
Purposes and legal bases
We do not sell your personal data. We use it for the purposes below and under the legal basis that applies in your jurisdiction.
Providing the service
Creating and managing your account, performing calculations, saving scenarios, generating reports, sending files, and managing subscriptions. Basis: performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into one.
Artificial intelligence
Generating analyses and answering questions using the scenario data and text you submit. We seek to exclude direct identifiers when they are not needed. Basis: the service requested by the user.
Security and fair use
Authenticating users, applying limits, detecting fraud, preventing abuse, and resolving failures. Basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users.
Communications
Sending operational messages, confirmations, reports, and account or subscription notices. Basis: providing the service and, where applicable, consent.
Analytics and improvement
Understanding general use of pages and features to improve the experience. Basis: consent where required by law or legitimate interest where permitted.
Compliance
Meeting tax, accounting, and legal duties and responding to valid authority requests. Basis: legal obligation.
Providers and transfers
We use providers that receive only the information needed to perform their role. Some may process data outside your country. Where required by law, transfers will rely on adequacy decisions, contractual clauses, or other recognized safeguards.

Retention and security
Account, usage, history, and report data is kept while your account remains active or for as long as needed to provide the service. Security and rate-limit records are kept for the time reasonably needed to prevent abuse. Billing information may be retained for periods required by law.
The in-app account deletion option removes associated records from Econparity's main application database. Identifiers managed by the authentication provider, externally stored files, backups, or legally required records may follow separate deletion cycles. You can request a complete review at privacy@econparity.com.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and credential separation. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction; object to certain uses; and withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing.
You may also complain to the data protection authority responsible for your place of residence. To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Children and policy changes
Econparity is not directed to children who are too young to consent to data processing under applicable law. If you believe a child provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service, providers, or law. We will publish the revised date and provide reasonable notice if a change is material.
